EXTRACOAT is a black, water-based bituminous waterproofing emulsion in paste form. It is formulated from bitumen and water, combined with special additives. The membrane formed after water evaporation is resistant to dilute acids, bases, and various corrosive chemical liquids. It is not resistant to petroleum products.
Waterproofing surfaces requires the application of two coats, provided that the first coat has dried completely. The formation of an excessively thick layer must be avoided.
